Research Projects

Fluid Business has no active funded research projects at the moment. The following project is under review with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC):

  • Semantic Transformation and Re-engineering of Web Services (STAR-WS). This is a research project which applies a model-driven development perspective to previously developed web services in order to uncover their underlying semantics. The aim of the research is to render such services semantically integrated with other resources of the Semantic Web. The expected outcomes of this research are (a) a framework for the semantic transformation of web services through the development of ontological models which integrate web services with other web resources and (b) a software tool to automate the transformation framework defined by this research.
